Inside the building, a door of your own opens onto a private staircase, and upstairs, light floods the bedrooms. “matcha espace” has two large, bright and quiet bedrooms of around 20 m², with a bed for everyone (4 singles in one, a double and 2 singles in the other). At the heart of the apartment: a dining area for shared meals, a bar counter for unwinding after work and a fully equipped kitchen, with dark floors softened by warm wood. 7 separate beds for 8 guests: dinner together, then everyone sleeps in their own bed.

matcha comfort

Three bathrooms and two toilets: no queue in the morning. “matcha comfort” is a large, bright three-bedroom apartment with a Scandinavian feel, where deep blue and light wood create a soft atmosphere that helps you switch off. A modern kitchen and a smart TV for the evenings (log in with your own streaming account): up to 12 guests in 8 separate beds, on the 1st floor in Hettange-Grande. All the comfort of a home, for the whole team.

Some apartments you just visit; this one you feel. On the 3rd floor, “matcha loft” brings urban chic: deep grey, olive and light wood, gold light fittings and its famous “OK” wall. Two quiet courtyard-facing bedrooms for a proper night’s sleep, and a bright street-side living room with a balcony for your morning coffee. A small studio with big character, tucked under the roofs of Hayange. A deep green wall, mustard cushions, a turquoise-tiled kitchen: “matcha shoes” is designed to feel good the moment you close the door. Two single beds that convert into a queen, a fully equipped kitchenette and self check-in. The essentials, done well, for a solo work trip or a stay for two.

Room to breathe. With 2.90 m ceilings, generous light, natural wood, white and blue, “matcha minimalist” was designed as a Nordic-style retreat for large groups. Three bedrooms plus a sofa bed give 7 separate beds, so everyone has their own bed at the end of the day. Up to 11 guests in Hettange-Grande, in a clean, uncluttered space where you relax the moment you walk in.

Don’t let the name fool you: “matcha tiny” has plenty of room. Tucked under the roof in Hettange-Grande, it’s lit by windows and skylights, with midnight blue, light wood and bedrooms made for sleep. Three bedrooms, two shower rooms and two toilets mean no one waits, even with 10 of you. A cosy, modern base for work teams, families or groups in town for a competition.

Why “matcha”?

An idea brought back from Japan.

Kevin, the founder, lived in Japan for several years. He came back with one simple idea: good hospitality means thinking of what your guest will need before they have to ask.

For a crew coming back from the site at 7 pm, that means beds made up, a kitchen you can really cook in, a table big enough for everyone, and someone who answers when there’s a question.

Hettange-Grande is about ten minutes from the Cattenom power plant and the Luxembourg border. Hayange is about twenty minutes from Esch-sur-Alzette. Thionville is 10–15 minutes from both.

Yes: most of our bedrooms have several separate beds. That’s how we can house a whole crew in one apartment, at a price per person far below a hotel. Every apartment shows its number of separate beds.

Beds vs guests: what’s the difference?

A double bed can sleep two people. If everyone wants their own bed, check the apartment’s number of separate beds or mention it in your request: we’ll confirm the sleeping arrangements.

Why book here rather than on Airbnb or Booking.com?
